Swedish beauty Clara Wester is the new face for Guess by Marciano.  I suspect an even brighter future for this young lady now.

sneak-a-peek

Pattern print today.  Very african.

buckle it

pic; carolines mode.

So about 40 minutes ago i found out that these lovelies had hit the store.  I grabed my bag and ran from the office to the nearest Scorett store for a purchase.  Unfortunantly the buckles look very plastic, -like the belts you buy for 5 yr old boys in the toy store for their cowboy and indian attire.
So i didnt end up buying them.  They do look pretty on picture though.   But i cheered my self up by reminding myself that i've placed an order on the much talked Eileen Shields boots, that im hoping will arrive in my mailbox soon from Paris.

from Gaza to Paris via London and New York

Fifi Lapin, around the world.  In Chanel, Hermés and YSL.

backpack

The boots, i love the boots.  Very much like Minimarkets from this fall but with the zipper on the front instead of back.  From Aussi designer Friend of Mine.  And how isn't with a rucksack, i know Lindex will have one similiar to the one above (very wang) in their collection coming out soon.

skullhead

I found it!  The perfect skull head ring.  From ebay of course.  What a gold mine!

outfit/outfit

cut up tee; Beyond Retro, cropped tuxedo blazer; H&M, Heels; Din Sko, Watch Breitling.

by the way check this out.

ring me

How wicked aren't the skull head rings?  Anyone know where i can find one?

port d'andratx

Saturday on the island looked like this.  Fabulous villa, with a fantastic view of  the deep blue ocean, beer, card games, backgammon, and great company.

a place with a view

So today we did a little roadtrip up in the mountains to Deia for a tapaz lunch.  The view as you can tell was breath taking.  Went to Port Soller for a beer and then the supermarcado!  So now we're back at the apartment and are gonna start dinner.  Holla!

I wore jean shorts from H&M, singlet from Forever21, flip-flops Havaiinas, watch Brietling and wicker bag from Mrs. Goldsmith.

palma de mallorca

We're in Palma de Mallorca for the weekend, visiting friends and celebrating my bestest 25th.  Last night we had a fabulous paella dinner in the harbour and now we're off to the mountains for a tapaz lunch.  Life is good.

How gorgeous isnt this?  Love that body chain, especially since the links are bigger than the usual ones you find.
Do you love it too? You can contact this hot lady from down under if you want to buy one!  This is how.

chanel wannabe

Longing for the Chanel flap bag, but your wallet can't quite handel the price tag? Oonagh O'hagen has design this tote with the classic 2.55 bag print.  Got 40 pounds over and this can be yours.  I love the other side of the bag as well.  Check check.  This would be perfect as a beach bag, unfortunantly my plane leaves tomorrow so it wont be able to arrive in time.  Palma tomorrow baby!

Sequin jacket and grey sweatshorts.  What a match.  The braclets aren't too bad either.

the big three

Old school Supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Eva Hertzigova put their mark on the 13th anniversary  August issue of Korean Vogue.  Three different covers and an editorial by John-Paul Peitrus.  There are however no group shots of the three supermodels but from the covers this looks promising.

are you fashion enough?!

Do you have what it takes?  Take the test! And see if you have what it takes to get shot by all our favourite fashion/streetstyle photographer the sartorialist.  Refinery 29 is behind this step by step guide.  And i freaking love it!  Something for us blogers and fashion addicts out there.

Who are you?

You guys know a whole lot about me,  but i know nada when it comes to you.
Let's change that shall we?
Who are you, where are you from, what's your nickname, whats your favourite thing in the whole wide world, are you in love? Tell me a little about yourself, anything at all, don't be shy.
In English or Swedish or Thai works just fine, or any other language you prefer!  Tell me tell me tell me, i'm oh so curious!

sex on legs

Pradas fishermen boots taken to another level.  How hot? From maurie and eve

jumpsuit

Cheerio!  Me and Marcus spent the afternoon shopping.  My mission was to find a new pair of gladiator sandals since my beloved studded ones broke on friday, the sole fell off.  But that mission was easier planned than accomplished.

The stores are now filling up with fall collections (!) and as for the summer sales only the shit pieces that no one wants are left.  Pretty much.  So no sandals.  I guess ill have to live in Havainnas on Palma.  I did however find a pair of strappy heels in suede for 99kr.  Bargain.

But thats not what i wanna show.  Look at my new romper.  Silk, choclate brown and at 70% off! I scored the last one as well.  From Zara.  Perfect for warm summer nights in Mallorca.  Now back to playing Grand Theft Auto.  Yes me and my man are dorks.

in her closet

I know i've probably shown this before, but it just love sneaking a peak in peoples closet and here we have model Noor Seear.  Inspirational!

knucklebuster

With this there's no need for rings.  Freaking fantastic.  From the king of clutches, Mr. Alexander McQueen.

midnight stroll

dress; Koola Anna, gladiators; Asos.com, Bag; Chanel, Old jeansjacket.

Last night started off with an awesome BBQ, we then made our way up to the tin roof on Söder where we drank beer listened to old classics (read Michael Jackson) and watched to sun go down over the roof tops, and later rise again over some other rooftops.  After that me and my bub walked home through the old town.  Perfect evening in other words!  Hanging on rooftops is definantly the new thing, especially when theres a couch (!).

Alice in Wonderland

I know you've seen it before, i've shown it before. But this deserves to be seen a million times over.  My all time favourite editorial.  I don't think there'll ever be a better.  Vogue December 2003.  By Annie Leibovitz.  I absolutley cannot wait until the new Tim Burton film is out! Love Alice.  Listen to this.

forever XII home & beauty

Forever21 are following in the steps of other low budget retailers such as H&M and ZARA and launching Forever21 Home and Beauty lines this later this year.   Just recently Forever21 launched themselves into Plus Size and Swimwear, labeled Faith 21.  I dont expect too much from this, but then again, cheap is always a hit.  No matter how bad the quality i could stil see myself running in last minute friday afternoon to get a new nailpolish, even if it were to chap within an hour.   And as for the Home designs, they may be fun and knowing Forever21, a cheaper rip off of other interior brands, maybe i'd get myself a new pillowcase or doormat.  Stay tuned.

white is the new black

I've been eyeing this dress from Koola Anna for awhile.  And yesterday i found it on sale at nelly.se. 99kr.  Pretty good i reckon?  White is the new black.  But of course i ended up buying it in black as well.  Just to be on the safe side.  However the black one wasn't on as big of a discount, but 269SEK is still better than 699.  The white one will definanlty be accompanying me to Palma next weekend.  Did i mention me and hubby are going there? Well we are.  My best friend is turning 25, and i wouldnt miss it for the world.  In Palma of course.

recess

I've come down with the flu.  Meaning i'll be spending the the day in my PJ's and drinking tea from a big mug whilst sitting on the hardwood floor reading Shantaram, flicking through old Vogue magazines from 2003, and watching Amelie from Montmartre.  Sounds like an ok way to spend the day to me.

three and a half years ♥

My boy and I are celebrating three and a half years today.   With freshly smoked prawns, baguettes, cape gooseberries and white wine.  A perfect evening in other words, even though i've come down with the flu.  Love ♥

soon to be

First we kidnapped Emma at work, and made her dress up.

Did she look good? Gold tights and pink boa.  Very Fashion

After the kidnapping we went to the go cart track.

I came in 8th place.  I was still proud, considering last time i crashed into a tree.

After we went to the park and had a picnic.  And drank champagne with blueberries.

All the ladies wore ties and tee's with 'Emmas Bachelor Party printed on the back'

And mustaches.

We rented sumo-wrestling suits.  Aka. Fat suits!

And fought!

And ended up getting completely exhausted.

After dinner, singstar and unwrapping gifts we went out.  And danced 'the robot'

I wore my new dress from Acne.  With my Chanel on my shoulder.

Me and the Fredriksson sisters!  Thanks for a fantastic night ladies, hope you had fun Emma!

charlies/angel

Pants from 3.1 Philip Lim, topp from Monki, leather jacket E-bay, pumps Asos, belt H&M, elephant necklace from Kenneth Jay Lane and bag from Chanel.   Very 1978 no? :)

the bachalor(ette)

Yesterday's attire looked partly like this, mustach, tie, and blazer.  You could say i looked like a man.  The reason? This lady's 'bachalor' party (and no i didnt spell bachalor wrong, i did it on purpose).  Instead of having a girly themed bachalorette fiesta we opted for a more manly one which included kidnapping, go-cart racing and sumo wrestling.

secret mission

I'm off for a secret mission, exactly what i'm spending my day doing, you'll find out later tonight.

WHYSL

I love this. Anyone know where i can get it?

This is Haute Couture

Givenchy.  Haute Couture, f/w 09.  This is what we call high fashion.  Designs that are so incredibly fantastic and akward at the same time, no one would wear them.  This is when fashion is at its best, when its art, when you can stare at it for minutes at a time and be completly enchanted by every little detailing from the seams to the pleats.  I say Thank you Riccardo Tisci, for such beautiful creations that are nothing less than spectacular.

the new chanel?

DIY: Chanel.  In tough economical times such as these, its time to be creative.

rotari

Right now.  Me and the Karin.  Wine, Michael Jackson (hell yeah, you know it), photo-booth, and all that shit, oh and yes POPCORN! she is the popcorn queen, which im sure you're all well aware of.  Arivaderci!

zip zip zip

Zipper dress from who would have thought, Cubus.  I've never actually been to the store but with zippers for 149SEK you can't go wrong.

leopard/jackson

I've spent the day in attire that is best suited for this crappy summer weather.  Wellingtons tee and jeans.  Not very glamorous but my leopard print scarf which is actually a sarong bought in Pulau Perhentian Malaysia adds some color to this grey light and make up free face.

And right now im doing the same thing as i guess about 20% of the worlds population, watching the memorial service for Michael Jackson.  As many others im very distraught by this, he truely was and will always remain a fantastic entertainer.  August 27th 1996, 13 years ago, i saw him live from the 4th row at a fully packed Muang Thong Thani Stadium in Bangkok.  After the show he waved to me backstage, little me 9 years old.  I feel lucky to have experienced such a legend.

Lady Dior

Marion Cotillard, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of French songbird Edith Piaf in "La Vie en Rose", is the face of the new campaign for the Lady Dior handbag. Shot on top of the Eiffel Tower, symbolising the canework pattern on the bag, this the the first of four ads.  Paris is the first stop for Ms. Cotillard and her baggage, her next adventure will be revealed on the soon-to-be-launched website LadyDior.com.

I love this ad, not so much for the bag but Marion looks incredible.  And the shoes are amazing, plus i love how there's that wide space next to her, and Paris going on for miles and miles.

Oh so hip it hurts

Meet Sky Ferreira, branded the new it girl.  For this 16 year old aspiring singer the Sky really is the limit.
And she's got style too.  And yes she's only 16.

dressy df

I bought this dress in black from Acne the other day, i fell in love with it at Fashion Week and now that it was on sale i went for it.  And yes i know i said no more purchases after this, but it will look so good together with my Chanel.

Tonight I'm meeting up with an old friend from pre-school.  We were in Year 1 together and then i moved to Thailand meaning we haven't seen each other for 17 years (yep thats how old i am, but in preschool you're only 7 so i guess its not to bad, you figure it out!)  Now strawberrys, rosé and pumping out the MJ jams! Dirty Diana is my fav, which is yours?

P.S. I'm in expressen fredag this week! Run and buy!

are you?

I'm in love, are you?

monkey business

Ape-alicious! Christopher Kane ofcourse.  Ever since i was little watching Pippi Longstockings i've wanted my own monkey.  My loving hubby even called to the zoo one time to see if it was possible.  I guess i'll have to settle for one of these until the day we move to a warmer more jungle like enviroment.

it's spelled c-h-a-n-e-l

I've bought my first Chanel bag.  The first of a collection that i hope will grow with time as I'm able to afford it.  I'm glad its a different model and not a 2.55 Flap bag (which i do find stunning) but feel everyone has.  Do i have to mention that i love it?
Oh and by the way I'm putting my credit card away for the rest of the month.

Säby ss10

pics: Kristian Lövenborg via alamode.se

Former model turned designer Karin Säby showed her spring summer 2010 collection on Tuesday at Fashion Week by Berns.  Feminine, girly, pastells, bows and lots of frill.  Nothing i would wear but we know Säby is good at what she does.  Well tailored garments with the Säby trademark.  I prefer her coats and jackets, with that extra detailing. The wedding dress, aka the piece de resistance, however is an absolut dream.

not without my bicycle

Last night, jeanshorts; h&m, Blazer, sequione, bag, siam and a wine glass.  Don't ask!

blanc/lolita

Yesterday's outfit.  It was so hot i couldnt wear what i had originally intended, so this white 'lolitaesque' (new word) dress had to do the job.  From H&M.  Wedges from Michael Kors, fringe bag bought at a market in Bangkok, orange braclet H&M and coconut braclet Thailand, gold ring Cartier and the necklace is from my nanna och yes and the very fashionable Fashion Week by Berns pass around my neck.  And how awesome isn't my hair?

FASR

Yesterday Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair had a housewarming for their new flagship store at Mäster Samuelsgatan.  It look like this.   And i'm in love with the black pumps on the second photo, oh and the little desserts were just as good as they look.
