WITH names such as Kylie Minogue, Kelly Osbourne, Dawn French, Selfridges and Liberty on their client list, it comes as no surprise that designerduo Jimmie Martin have swept over the UK as well as the rest of Europe like a hurricane. And now trough collaboration with by Barda, we are finally able to take part of their success in Sweden.
Initially Jimmie Martin´s new scented candles will be launched for sale in the by BARDA boutique, but other projects are already in the works,and with Jean-Pierre and the duo working together, anything is possible.
"If everything goes as planed, then this is only the beginning of an exciting collaboration and with future projects we are hoping to introduce more of our products, including furniture, that clients will be able to order and buy exclusively at by BARDA" says Jimmie Martin.
By BARDA’s doors open on December 7th at Birger Jarlsgatan 33.
Around the world
I OFTEN get questions regarding Thailand and even Asia in general. Those of you who've been following me for the past few years known that there is one thing that im more passionate about than fashion and that is travelling. I tend not to write too many tips when it comes to Thailand and yes that is a bit due to selfish reasons, i have places that i'd like to keep to myself, it's exposed enough as it is.
Someone asked me the other day to name my favourite places in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. And sure thing i can do that. A little mini guide so to say. Lets start with Thailand.
Going to Thailand and want to stear away from the tourists or say atleast the Swedes? I would say go to Koh Samed, this is is where the thais go on long weekend breaks, and the expats spend their song kran holidays. Only 3 hours away from Bangkok. Its cheap, relaxed, and quite thai. The reason i mention Koh Samed is ofcourse since i presume you want sun, sand and sea, and my number one tip for Thailand (besides the ones i keep for myself) is of course Bangkok. And tada! Koh Samed is close!
Bangkok is a city you either hate or love, though i can't see how you could possibly feel anything other than adoration. New York has nothing on Krung Thep when it comes to the city that never sleeps. You need to give yourself time when in the city, and like the rest of Thailand the key word is PATIENCE! Please skip eating at your hotel restaurant and instead plump your butt down at a street stall, this is where you will sample some of the best cuisine in your life time. This is real thai food. For the best food street, head down to Sukhumvit soi 38 after 3-4 o'clock in the afternoon until 5 am and it will be bustering with food stalls, from noodles to shaved ice cream.

OK so i think we can all agree that Johnny Depp is by far the biggest hunk (Robert Pattison has nothing on Mr. Depp). And yes Kate and Johnny were great and gorgeous whilst they lasted but how fantastic isn't Vanessa Paradis? I love how their life seems so oblivious, hollywood celebrites and all they still play it cool and reside from all the hype. Respect. What i wanted to get to was the second image, i adore it and my next project is to do something similar with a photo of me and my own hunk. Thats all for now. Over and out.

The leather blazer and the midnight blue dress are my favourites. I love the drapings on the dress and it reminds me of Burberry Prorsums S/S 10. The disco thights are too bad either.

THE apartment was awesome! Perfekt for us! 3,20m ceiling hight, love love love. Lots of closet & storage space, and the kitchen is great great great! We bid straight away, 200,000 more than the starting bid, Marcus says its a new tactic, maybe that way we'll scare people away? :) Now im gonna heat up some mulled wine. And yes my mind is racing in 180, i'm already looking at furniture, not good, I'm setting myself up for harder disappointment.

TGIF. Still sick, havent gotten much shut eye tonight due to various variations of coughing. However here i am dressed, with a cup of coffee in my hand, ready to head into the office. Tfs and sheknows recently did an article about five style rules they think it's time for us to break. How many times haven't we stood there infront of the mirror with an outfit on that we think looks rad (stripes & polka dots, leopard&zebra anyone?) but decided to change last minute because of being misplaced in public or rather cause we feel we're breaking some essential style code! Mixing prints
Houndstooth and stripes? Hells, yes! Mixing prints, when done correctly, can bring your style to new heights of bohemian chic and you're guaranteed to not look like every other girl on the street. That said, still use your better judgment: mixing two retro paisley prints will cast you as a prop on That '70s Show in no time. Perfect friday! After work? Yep at World Class gym! One hour and fourty minutes of work out! Did i mention it's friday? Fit for fight! Home, burritos (home made of course) and red wine. For the first time in like EVER i felt i worked hard for that glass of red wine. Push ups, sit ups, weights, crunches and steps, all for that fantastic glass of wine, and boy was it good! I really really really need a new camera. I've been thinking of getting the Canon G10 for so long, but i still haven't gotten around to it. And now the G11 is out and G10 doesn't seem to be getting any cheaper even though its been out for over a year. I would love the EOS 500D, everyone says it's excellent but i'm not that technical. So maybe the IXUS 100 IS would fit me better? It's such a camera jungle out there. Whats good? Preferably id like to get both, then i could use the compact camera whilst i'm learning how to use the EOS 500D.

where the wild things are
There are 3 movies I'm so so so looking forward to! And one of them is Where the wild things are. Based on the book by Maurice Sendak, and from what i've heard its meant to be a excellent adaptation. Cant wait to see it.
P.S. The other 2 movies im really looking forward to are Alice in Wonderland and Shantaram both with Johnny Depp in the lead. If you haven't read Shantaram, please do so.

GUITAR. Me and sara went to Café Opera tonight to test out the new Band Hero. Guitar Hero's version of Nintendo Wii's Rock Band. You know, bass, guitor, drums and vocals. How was it? Well the food was good, the wine was alright, the peeps, well there wasn't many of them, but we came home with the best goodiebag, one guitar each and the new Band Hero game for X-box (yep we dont do playstation). So we're testing it out now, awesomeness but we suck! Smell ya later! Let's rock!
