ladureé

Tonight is the night for macaroons and tea.  I bought them at Harrods and even though its the priciest little cookie its worth it just for the packaging.  We didn't get the apartement, we didn't win the bidding or rather we ran out of money to bid with.  So that housewarming everyone is looking forward to will just have to wait.  I'm hoping something better will come along and yes i believe in karma.  It just wasnt meant to be.

P.S.  It's this beautys birthday today, i was meant to be there celebrating her right right now but i've come down with a cold (as well as loosing my dream apartment).  Today isn't a good wednesday.  Happy birthday Honey!

by the way

I bought the bouclé chanel inspired jacket from Divided Exclusive. I love it plenty, though i wish it were a little bit longer, but you can't have everything in this world.

kaned

Mesh Boot Christopher Kane for Topshop.  Close to perfection.

the shoes with capital s

Haidar Ackermann found via e-bay.  Unfortunantly about 1000 dollares to expensive for my wallet at the moment, or any other moment for that case.

glitter lips

This is what my lips used to look like ca. 1998.  Well the purple part anyway.  Now im craving it again!  Simple yet dramatic.  Focus on those lips baby!

sonia rykiel for h&m

Fifi Lapin in Sonia Rykiel

Even before one designer collaboration has even hit the stores, the next one is announced.  Starting december 5th  Sonia Rykiel will be warming us up for the holiday season.  The Queen of Knits will also be designing a range of lingerie and extended accessories for H&M, that will be available in Sonia Rykiel stores as well as 1,500 H&M stores around the world, this marks a first for H&M.

And come spring, the collaboration will continue into what Rykiel is most famous for, her knits.  The knitwear collection will be available for both woman and girls aged 1.5 to 8years old, and will be launched February 8th, 2010 in 250 H&M stores around the globe.

“It is a hallmark of Sonia Rykiel to think of all women because fashion is about a certain spirit more than a question of means. This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy. The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year. The knitwear collection is perfect for welcoming a colourful new season,” says Nathalie Rykiel, president and artistic director of Sonia Rykiel.

gate 46

Yesterday i met up with this hot mama for wine and dinner at Imperiet.  Afterwards i headed to an office party with my smashing Emma (who has a new blogg, check it!).  Lots of wine (maybe a glass too many) and mingeling at Gate 46's headquarters, which included helium ballons.   Hubby came by around and then we walked the 500 meters back home to our place at around 12.30.  Today's been a day filled with alot of How i met your mother, and now we've just had a sushi dinner for two with champagne.   Shall put on my heels soon and head over to Karin's for her birthday/housewarming party!

cocoon

I just clicked home this awesome vintage leopard cocoon mohair cardigan on ebay.  I think it'll work perfectly as a jacket until November!  What'd ya reckon, hit or miss?

pom pom parlour

Champagne and mini cakes at Pom Pom Parlours opening.  After that beer and mini hamburgers and JC's flagship reopening!  I love the whole mini thing.  And i know one of my eyes look a little lazy, but you know these event photographers arent the best at catching up your good side.

bleeding lips

Tonight im going for bloof red!  From I.D's buxom lips.  Elephant around my waist as well.  A little burlesque for Pom Pom Parlour's launch and then JC's flagship opening!  Cause tonights gonna be a good night!

lolitaesque

So we are definantly leaving the hard, black, studded, and trashy trends behind us for Spring/Summer 2010.
Make way for the feminine.  Pastels, drappings, dresses, chiffong, dressy, lolitaesque and glamourous.  Especially if we are to trust Burberry Prorsum.   Other feminine collections from London fashion week inclue Christopher Kane (very lolitaesque, with every piece focusing on pastel checkered table cloth fabric!!) and Antonio Berardi.

Are you looking forward towards Spring/Summer 2010?  Are you glad we're moving towards  brighter and more feminine fashion?  Are you sick of the dark/edgy/trashy style?

runalong

Started this day off with a 40 minute jog!  How good? Now im prompted in the soffa with coffee and the news.  Gonna sneak a peak at style.com and have a look at the shows i missed yesterday, such as Burberry Prorsum.
Tonight it's the opening of the new Pom Pom Parlour boutique and the launch of the newly renovated JC flagship store.  Good stuff on the day before payday and my wallet is as flat as a leaf.

tight(s) like a rock star

The ultimate rock star tights.  From australian sass & bide.  Would you wear these?

who what wear

Jeans 575 LA. Blazer Zara. Watch Breitling. Tank Bershka. Necklace Marc Jacobs.  Scarf H&M Divided.

she did a wang

pic; Caroline Blomst

Talking about Alexander, Caroline did a Wang.  And i like it!  Could use a little longer hair, maybe time to get my hands on some extensions?!  What ya reckon? Hot or not?

varsity pinup - spring trend

1. Cognac colored leather.

2. Leopard wedge loafers

3.  Quilted leather.

4. Ribbed athletic socks.

5. Sweatshirt infused corset.

6. Varsity jackets with a twist.

7.  Sheer Tighty Whites and Mohair power shoulders.

8.  The messy sideways braid.

Eight trends to judge from Alexander Wangs s/s 10 show.  High School football turned into this - Varsity pinup, and i like it.  Its simple yet edgy, its wearable yet the detailing is fantastic, and its sportswear turned high fashion.  As Meenal Mistry from style.com put it ' The look here was varsity pinup, as if a bevy of cool but wayward high-school girls had raided the locker room armed with a pair of scissors''

Timeless pieces that are sure to become classics.  My favourites? The cognac leathered lace up shorts.

chunky

When i unpacked my bag this morning, i found that my chunky red necklace had broken, beads all over the place.  How shitty isn't that?!  Good luck finding a new one.  Thats all i have to say right now.

fiera di sinigallia

Today in pictures.  Markets, long walks, graffiti, cappuchino, delicious bread, wine, sunshine, beautiful buildings, design shops, tourists, stylish italians, not so stylish italians and the color purple with big P.

I'm wearing dress H&M Trend, bag from Chanel, converse and ray ban avaitors.

The map reader

Great company

Beautiful scenery

Alot of photography, hey i'm almost japanese!

Fantastic sights!

Cute earrings! (it's a fork, the other one is a knife!)

The Eiffel tower, but in Milan, (bought at Marc Jacobs last weekend in London, how cute?)

Fabulous wine!

Great secondhand shopping!  (Hubby, i want a vintage typewriter for my 25th, or anyone else who feels like i deserve a present!)

Did i mention great fucking company?!

There was some shopping involved....

Took a bath, drank a glass, and smoked a fag

I (♥ heart ♥) Milano!

That was my day in short acceptable summary, now some wine, then apertivo by the canal!  Ciao Bella!

bellisima

Literally!  Ok so Milano outfit numéro uno here we go.  Shirt stolen from b-friend (the tag reads Nordstroms), bag; Chanel, watch from Breitling, flats H&M.

P.S. I'm really not as pissed of as i look (!)

bad bloger

I've been a bad bloger,  i've completly forgotten about my competitions! So we'll start with the passport cover....the winner is.....drumroll please..... SANDRA (mejla mig din adress så kommer ett paket på posten!).  And as for the jewellry giftcard, we'll keep that one going until next week, so go go go!

pack your bags

This ain't easy!  Ok so i fly alot but this weekend thing is kinda of new to me.  Yeah yeah, London last week and Palma last month, but i usually do the 1-4 month deal.  So weekend in Milan, how many shoes do i need, how warm is really 25° (celcius), how cold is it when it rains (yes its meant to pour the WHOLE weekend) and how fashion do i need to be?  Dilemmas i know!

milano calling

OK so you guys were so good when it came to tips from London, that i thought i'd try this again.  Next stop? Milan.  Tomorrow.  So tell me about your favourite restaurant, the best place to party it up, where to drink the foamiest cappuchino, and the best shopping whether it be markets or outlets!  Come on and share, after all sharing is caring!

rumi x rvca

Everyones biggest inspiration source aka fashiontoast has taken the leap from bloger to designer.  The first bloger to design for a mayor line (correct me if i'm wrong), RVCA, Erin Wassons favorit.  This triad tank will be available for sale on her blog as well as RVCA come spring.  Just a simple tank some may think but read her explaination, and you realize the amount of thought thats gone into this, and that hey, yeah, i've had that problem with tights and tanks/ shorts and tanks.

But hey the best thing in these shots has to be the asish for topshop wedges/boots.

almost time to glove it

Autumn is just around the corner.  Cool biker gloves will make you the coolest cat around.  From Topshop.

another night

Tank; GAP, Necklace; Kenneth Jay Lane, Shoes; Dinsko, Bag; ZARA and Lace Cardigan; One of a Kind Vintage

portobella road

Saturday in London, down Portobella Road, looked kind of like this.

jade

So i just realized i left my battery charger at work so i cant show you my purchases from london.  But here's a sneak peek at my new lace empellished jade green cardigan/blouse.  I found it at one of a kind vintage (thanks to you guys!), which is this awesome vintage store where Kate Moss and Sienna Miller shop amongst others.  It was extremly expensive for being second hand, but then again its french lace and absolutly perfect.  But we're gonna have to do Milano on the cheap now Karin!

monkilicious

Monki is launching themselves into the hair accessorie line.  Feathers, bows and sequined hair pieces will be available in Monki Stores staring next week.  And the price tag is likeable as always, between 40-180 SEK.
Magical!

adam & eve muse

Saturday afternoon in London.  Near our condo.  Dress H&M, Bag; ZARA, Avaitors, RayBan, feather; Thailand, Watch; Breitling.

And in the bag, is something from one of a kind.  The word something does'nt even do it justice.  Thank you all for your london tips!  Will show you my purchases later on tonight, now work work work!

kensington high

Morning from London!  This is our street.  Very english looking.  Last night with had drinks at The Met and now we're off to have a look at Katie's photo exhibition.  And hopefully grab a manifesto tote on the way!  Later Skater!

notting hill

OK so im off.  This may not be the most active blog this weekend but ill try to pop in once in awhile.  Tonights plans so far are dinner in Notting Hill with the old gang.  Oh yea and remember the reason for my 5am wakeup call the other day?  I cant believe it made the news, but then again i dont think you could call Aftonbladet a newspaper.  If i get the YSL manifesto, you'll definantly be hearing from me!  Ciao!

model hangout

NYFW started yesterday, 120 models, 74 fashion shows, and today on the runway Erin Wasson x RVCA are showing.

9/11 and I'm flying to London.  And i found out where i can get my hands on the limited YSL manifesto tomorrow!

Are you in one of the fashion capitals of the world and want to get your hands on one?  Find out how, HERE.

goodnight

ph: Karin O.

Ok enough for today.  Time to pack up and tuck in.  New adventures await tomorrow.  Bisous!

5 am

Ok so i've been up since, get this, 5 am. Just got back from dropping my gorgeous niece at kindergarden.
My sister plus hubby jumped on a plane this morning at six to a yet unknown destination, all they know is that they're heading for a warmer climate.  The reason?  The wedding of the year or possibly century, 200 guests all flown in by private jet for a four day wedding celebration in paradise.  No credit cards accepted, all expenses paid.  Pretty good no?

So i took the kids this morning.  Not as glamourous but cozy none the less.  And now i feel just about ready for lunch, my hours are all messed up.  My blouse by the way is from Fiorucci.

wrapped in warmth

I realised its about time to go down to the basement and fish up my leopard fur.  One of the best things with fall/winter, i get to wear this beauty.  Inherited from my great grandma.  How fantastic isnt that?  Pieces with History make the wearing part so much more fun.

spikey heels

Today i've dug deep in my closet and found these black pointy heels that i actually bought last time i was in London, 5 years ago.  Very 1986 non?  What do you think, retro cool or just plain hideous?

toast it

Never fails to disapoint. Another one to copycat.  All black.  Fashiontoast ofcourse.

bare

Got some new I.D makeup home in the mail yesterday.  I've come to the conclusion that it is my favourite.  After many years of trying different powders and foundations i've decided to settle with what i basically started with.  I tried bare minerals for the first time about 6 years ago, as a friends mom was the importer for it in South East Asia.   Expensive yes but oh so much better for your skin and pores than the cheaper over the counter brands in the drugstore.  Its an investment in the long run.   What brands do you guys use?!

jaquared/cube

Knitted bodycon dresses,  perfect for fall when your usual mini dresses aren't warm enough.  I love the prints as well, no need for accessories, just add some killer ankel boots and you're set!

Topshop ofcourse.

4th and bleeker

Sequins and stripes, I'm gonna copy this one straight off.

london baby

I'm heading over to London on friday afternoon for a long weekend and catch up with a bunch of my bangkok favourites.  I need your best London tips!  Haven't been there for about 5 years so i have no clue whatsoever.  Best café? Secondhand shop? Market? Resturant?  Anything goes!  But would appreciate details on vintage shops the most!  So hit me!

still

I'm still sick, so im staying out at the island a little longer.  Sun is shining, the air is crispy, its extremley quiet and i do believe we are the only ones out here.  Its very calming, whilst everyone else is stressing in town and to work.  Happy monday ya'll!

goose island

I'm packing up my sick self and my weekend duffel and heading to our country home with b-friend.  Whilst im away getting better, you should check out THIS and THAT.  I'll pick a winner when i get back!   Ciao!

leo/zebra

So what ya reckon about these animal printed boots?  I love the model of the boot, the raw rubber sole (perfect for winter as you wont trip on the ice/snow), the lace-up, the wedge, the fringe, yeah pretty much everything except the animal print i think.  Well i could do without the leoperd print,  the zebra print i could handle.  Hard to match shoes with such a pattern however.  From topshop.

galaxy

How awesome!  Galaxy printed pants.  Too bad the price tag wasnt as awesome.  Well if you got 600 dollars over.

who's a winner

OK since im still stuck at home sick and bored i thought we'd start another competition.  This time you can win 200:-SEK to spend at www.smycken4u.se , all you have to do is link your favourite piece of jewelry in your blog as well as the website smycken4u.se with the link text 'smycken online' and then post a comment with the link here in my blog!

YSL

And this is what the manifesto tote looks like this year.  Hoping i get my hands on one in London next week.

proud auntie

This little cutie is my niece and she just landed a job for KappAhl's catalogue, and so did her older brother (my nephew), who's sure to be a hunk.  Then again with faces like that huh?

manifesto

Its almost time for the YSL manifesto.  For the past few years YSL have been campaigning through handing out catalogues and limited edition totes around the time of New York Fashion Week.  September 12th is the date to remember if you find yourself in Hong Kong, Seoul, London, Milan, Paris, Tokyo and New York of course.  And i am lucky enough to be in London at the time so hoping to snatch one for myself.

P.S. Im crazy sick and stuck at home so we'll keep the competition going for a few more days, plus i wanna hear more of your favorite travels!

an outfit

ph: Karin O

OK so this illness i felt this morning has now broken out into a full on epidemic.  I feel shit.  My head is bashing, throat is dry and my nose is running.  SO since you wouldnt want to see me now, here's an outfit from saturday.  The mesh dress is from swedish Koola Anna.  And on my head you'll find a crayfish hat- i later swapped it for a Top Hat.

Im now gonna crawl in underneath my duvet with the lastest People, and american Vogue that fantastic Danette sent me all the way from the US of A.

the softer edge

COS behind the scences Autumn/Winter 09

I love the instrumental.

makes my day

Gårdagens kommentar,

Åh, vad fina ni är! Du är ju bara så naturligt söt med cool stil och han ser bara så där lugn, skön och snygg ut :-)

Its things like this that make my heart jump an extra beat for humanity.   Tack Johanna:)

speeding lights

God morning!  And thats about all i have time for now, gotta run to a meeting with my bank, now now now.  In other news, im terribly sick, nose, throat, yeah the whole god damn bit.  Later skater!

so we had a party

'

ph: Karin O

And it look like this from Karin's lens.  Good times good times, especially if you are to judge by my laugh attack.  And don't mind the top-hat, i thought it fit better than the crayfish hats.

how very balmain of you

Kate Moss for topshop.  £120 pounds.  That means about £100 pounds too much for my budget at the moment.

bambi

ph: cobrasnake via fashion-canvas

Ok so i see this and it makes me wanna go dark dark darker.  Are you guys sure i should stick with this?
