THOSE of you who watch the news, read the paper, follow twitter, won't have forseen the destruction thats been caused to my hometown today. I am at a loss for words and amazed that a disagrement in opinions can lead to such destruction. I am not biased, I don't pick sides, I do my research and look at both sides of the story. But today they've gone too far. Where in Buddhism are we taught that its ok to hurt, harm, kill and steal? Karma is a mayor aspect of buddhism and I hope that these arsonist and rioters know it's coming their way. How does burning down nearly 30 landmarks prove your point? What about your fellow countrymen? Their jobs? Their businesses? Their struggle? All you've preached for these past 2 months is 'elections, elections', your issues are so much deeper than that, lets begin with a new social reform and education! This is terrorism, and the problem lies in your unwillingness to realize this.

LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE! Picture from the weekend before last when i had to off my bestest here. Johannes and I have known each other since we were 13. We grew up in Thailand together, he now lives in Germany. Before he came to visit, we hadn't seen each other for 7 (!) years. But it was as if time had stood still, besides the fact that we're a little older, have jobs, and no longer spend weekends drinking cheap thai whiskey and weekday afternoons at Studio 22 playing pool instead of studying for our IB exams. Friends like him are worth more than all the Sangsom Buckets and Moo Ping in Thailand! (And i really love my sangsom and moo ping!)

Friday! and im exhausted, couldn't sleep at all last night, and the king of pop is dead. I liked wacko jacko, he was a fantastic entertainer, as for all the other scandals i don't have much to say. I went to his History tour back in '98 (oh wow 11 years ago!) in Bangkok and it was awesomeness.

Vilket väder! I'm well rested after a weekend in the archipelago. My hubby is off buying us a new tv, just in time for the big football game on wednesday night. Viva Barcelona! The sun is shining, and it was a real blissful morning out at the island today. Now back to work! The evening shall be spent out on our balcony with a nice bottle of wine. I love mondays!
