Oh, won't you please take me home
THAILAND. My sister is there right now, at our beautiful villa. She was supposed to come home eight days ago, but due to the ash she had to stay put. Next available flight turned out to be May 3rd. I don't even think i have to write that I'm jealous. I miss my saltwater pool, my princess bed, the sound of waves, the buzz of mosquitos, the humidity, my kitten mimmi (who's not a kitten anymore) and of course my fantastic mama and daddy!

ADVENTURE. It's been a couple of months now since I've was abroad and i haven't spent this great a part of winter in Stockholm for years. My new years commitment this year was to visit 5 new countries 2010. I've done one so far. So i better speed it up. I'd love some sun and warm climate, but what I'm really curious about is an adventure trip. I wanna trek in a jungle, do adventure sports, travel down a river by boat, see fasinating animals and reptiles. And a new cultures. So for now, i'm competing here.

HOME. I've had an awesome weekend in Amsterdam. Including fantastic company, good beer, Van Gogh, fritz, being yelled at by a dutch prostitute, long strolls along the canals, waffle cookies, sambuca, great hotel, girl chats and trying to speed up the process of using one bathroom between 4 girls! My camera is loaded with photos, which ill show ya'll later. For now you get my favourite of the moment- Abbey Lee Kershaw in Pop Magazine. How pretty? Oh so very much.

MORNING! Already on my second cup of coffee. But hey did i tell you guys im going to amsterdam in two weeks? Well I am, and it'll be my first time, so i need tips! Where to eat, drink, shop? Anything and everything! I think i got all the museums under control.

LIFE is good at The Davis- Bangkoks first boutique hotel! Bubbel bath, chardonnay, room service. I'm not complaining. Today will end in a night of mayhem however, party night with my canadian homegirl is long overdue! See you's at Khao Sarn for Buckets!

TO THE AIRPORT now, next stop Bangkok! I'm gonna miss our house especially my bed down here but hey big fluffy hotel beds and hotel breakfast ain't that bad either, plus i heard we got a suite!

LIVEBLOGING from our livingroom. The monsoon rains seem to have come early this year. I think the beach is out of the question today. What a contrast compared to yesterday huh? I heard that it was -22°C in Stockholm yesterday, is that true? Brrr. I guess i shouldn't complain over some rain. This is actually quite cozy.

ITS hard to find the time (and unfortunantly the will) to blog when you're on vacation, and coming up on the last week, im switching computer time for fun in the sun, splashing in the waves and cocktail hour at the beach. Here's a photobomb from the past few days.

And am now enjoying the breeze through our bedroom window, whilst my hubby is fast asleep next to me! Yes he landed this afternoon! About bloody time too! Now im gonna try to shake some life into him and see if we can have a beer in the sala thai while watching the sun set over the horizon.
leisurely sunday
THE majority of my day has been spent at home by the pool catching up on my reading of Shantaram (yes i still havent gotten through it!), except for a lunch stop at Mom Tri's Boathouse. Don't miss the 3 course set lunch if you're there. Today mine included pomelo & beetroot salad with prawns, rock lobster with tomato salsa, and cinnomon pears with greek yogurht ice cream!

ON todays agenda. A change of tires at the lokal mechanic. One of those things that had to be done. Whilst waiting i played around with this cutey pie. Her name is Bam.
