WORKING and packing down my whole life in boxes, leaves little time for blog action.  But tomorrow is the final day, the moving truck comes at 10am, and then all thats left is the unpacking (!). 

Last night was our last stylist lesson, so now I'm officially a Stylist.  I got 37/40 on the final exam, kudos to me! Thursday's wont be the same now without school but it feels good to get out there and start working, and i got some projects lined up.  God this got personal now.

What i wanted to say was jeez i love that raspberry red beret!

Former model turned designer Karin Säby showed her spring summer 2010 collection on Tuesday at Fashion Week by Berns.  Feminine, girly, pastells, bows and lots of frill.  Nothing i would wear but we know Säby is good at what she does.  Well tailored garments with the Säby trademark.  I prefer her coats and jackets, with that extra detailing. The wedding dress, aka the piece de resistance, however is an absolut dream.

Yesterday Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair had a housewarming for their new flagship store at Mäster Samuelsgatan.  It look like this.   And i'm in love with the black pumps on the second photo, oh and the little desserts were just as good as they look.

Today was the first day of Fashion Week by Berns, and i saw the shows in tee from Marc by Marc Jacobs, skirt from Beyond Retro, wedges from Nine West and the bag is vintage Yves Saint Laurent. 

FIrst day has come and gone and clothes wise i liked Dagmar the best, alot of nice feminine pieces there, a few hints of chanel (think chanel tweed suits but in knits) and ofcourse their fantastic knitted cardigans but this time with a twist, shoulder pads!  Noir et Blanc are always incredibly well tailored but i was missing that extra touch, we know they are good now we just want to see them elaborate on what they already do so well.
Islaet (danish brand) did a very colorful collection, and even though the clothes weren't my cup of tea i have to give cred to the smiling models (!) that weren't anorexic and the hair and playful hairpieces!

 

It's Fashion Week and Vogue Nippon are in town! First up on the schedule, Dagmar.

All products are from Lancôme's fall collection.  I just picked them up.  Along with alot more.  I love my job.  Products from Lancôme worth about 4000kr, to test and write about.  Finns mycket fint att se fram emot i höst.  Alot of gold and midnight blue.  Will write a longer review a soon as i've tested it out.  For now check this out.

In tough economical times as these the demand for vintage has become all the more popular.  This weekend (30-31 of May) the doors will open once again for Scandinavia's largest Vintage Fair.

New exhibitors for this time around are Re-mix vintage shoes.  The shoe brand is featured on none other than Angelina Jolie in her latest Hollywood movie Changeling.  In Sweden the company Jigwalk are distributors of the classical shoes from the 1920's, 30's and 40's and will be available at the fair. 

The new vintage shop Tokyo Stop (www.tokyostop.jp) which focuses on vintage clothes that are handpicked straight from the streets of Tokyo will also be present.

I have work up to my ears! Its a weird thing being thrown back into reality after almost five months.  Luckily i have a wonderful hubby whom is cooking for me tonight.  Blue Marlin. On a monday.  Thats what i call luxury.
